God never intended for us to go through life alone. Throughout the Bible, we see the importance of being in community. In fact, authentic life-change happens in the context of relationships.
At Banner Hill Church, we believe our church must grow LARGER and SMALLER at the same time.
“They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” - Acts 2:46-47 (NIV)
“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.” - Acts 20:20 (NIV)
How can our church grow larger yet maintain close relationships?
Be a part of a group.
Groups provide opportunities for:
BIBLE STUDY. I need people to strengthen and balance the Word of God in my life.
DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS. I need people who know me.
PRAYER. I need people to pray for me personally.
SUPPORT. I need people who will protect me.
MINISTRY. I need people with whom I can share my story.
“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." John 13:34-35 (NLT)
